Hire technical talent without hiring blind.
Most staffing partners hand you résumés and hope. We show you the market first — how deep the candidate pool actually is for your role, what it pays right now, and how long a realistic shortlist takes. Then we go build it.

The bottleneck isn’t talent. It’s visibility.
Open roles don’t stay open because good engineers stopped existing. They stay open because hiring teams are working from an incomplete picture — an outdated salary band, a job description written for a role that no longer exists, a shortlist that took three weeks to assemble and arrived already stale.
Spire Visibility runs technology recruitment the way we run everything else: get the picture right first, then move fast. We map the live market for your role, calibrate the requirements against who’s actually available, and put a vetted shortlist in front of you in days — for contract IT staffing, contract-to-hire, or permanent placement.
Stale salary bands
We benchmark against live offers, not last year's survey.
Over-specified requirements
We tell you which “must-haves” are costing you three weeks.
Volume over fit
Five screened candidates, not fifty forwarded résumés.
Eight technical domains. One screening bar.
AI & Machine Learning
Teams building and shipping models, not just prototyping them.
Cloud & DevOps
Infrastructure people who own uptime, cost, and delivery speed.
Cybersecurity
Defenders for the stack you already run.
Data & Analytics
Pipelines, warehouses, and the reporting layer on top.
Software Engineering
Product engineers across web, mobile, and backend.
Enterprise Systems
ERP and business-platform specialists through the full lifecycle.
QA & Automation
Test coverage that scales with release velocity.

Four ways to add capacity.
Scale a team for a defined window without adding headcount.
Engineers work through us on an hourly bill rate, for as long as the project needs them and not a week longer.
TYPICAL START: 5–10 DAYS
Work with someone before you commit to the offer.
A contract period with a planned conversion — both sides verify fit in production before a permanent offer is made.
TYPICAL START: 5–10 DAYS
Permanent hires, sourced and screened end to end.
We run the search and screening; you make the offer. Fee due only when the hire starts, with a replacement guarantee.
TYPICAL OFFER: 2–4 WEEKS
A managed dedicated team, embedded in your process and your standups.
Two to eight engineers with a lead, working your hours and your tools — capacity that scales without expanding permanent headcount.
TYPICAL START: 2–3 WEEKS
Scoping call to shortlist in under a week.
- 01
Scope the role
A 20-minute call to pin the requirements to what the market actually has.
DAY 0
- 02
Map the market
Pool depth, live rate bands, and the two requirements worth relaxing.
DAYS 1–3
- 03
Shortlist
Three to five candidates, technically screened, with written notes on each.
DAYS 4–6
- 04
Place and support
We handle offer, onboarding, and check-ins through the engagement.
ONGOING
Six engineers in three weeks, without a single wasted interview.
The challenge. A fintech platform team lost a delivery quarter to attrition — two backend engineers and a DevOps lead gone inside a month, a compliance deadline that didn’t move, and an internal recruiting team already at capacity.
What we did. The market map came first: live rate bands showed their backend budget was 15% under market, and one “required” certification was filtering out most of the pool. They adjusted both on day two. We ran parallel searches across the three roles and screened every candidate against their actual stack.
The outcome. First shortlist inside 48 hours; all six seats filled in three weeks — three contract, three contract-to-hire. Every placement was still in seat at the twelve-month mark, and the compliance deadline was met with days to spare.

What “screened” means here.
“Pre-vetted” is the most abused phrase in staffing, so we’ll be specific. Before any candidate reaches your inbox, they have passed all five checks on the right — run by people who do the work, not by keyword filters. You get the written screening notes with every profile.
If a candidate doesn’t clear all five, you don’t see them — even if it means a slower shortlist.
- CHECK 1 OF 5
Live technical screen by a practitioner in the same stack
- CHECK 2 OF 5
Verified employment history
- CHECK 3 OF 5
Reference calls with a direct manager
- CHECK 4 OF 5
Written English and async-communication assessment
- CHECK 5 OF 5
Availability and notice period confirmed in writing

“The market read alone was worth the call. They told us our band was low and which requirement to drop — before we'd paid them a rupee.”
“Five candidates, five real interviews, one offer accepted in eleven days. No staffing partner has come close to that ratio for us.”
“They pushed back on our job description, and they were right. The engineer we hired wasn't the one we advertised for — she was better.”
What does an IT staffing company actually do?
We take a role you need filled, map the live candidate market for it, and deliver a screened shortlist — then handle interviews, offer, and onboarding logistics. You skip sourcing, cold outreach, and first-round screening entirely. Unlike a job board, you only ever see candidates who have already passed a technical screen and reference checks for your specific requirements.
How fast can you fill a technical role?
For most individual-contributor roles, a screened shortlist lands in four to six business days from the scoping call. Time to an accepted offer depends mostly on your interview loop — clients who compress theirs typically make a hire inside three weeks. Niche or leadership roles take longer, and we tell you the realistic timeline up front rather than discovering it together.
What's the difference between contract, contract-to-hire, and direct placement?
Contract means the engineer works through us for a defined period — you get capacity without adding headcount. Contract-to-hire starts the same way but with a planned conversion, so both sides can verify fit before an offer. Direct placement is a permanent hire from day one: we source and screen, you employ. The right model depends on budget structure and how certain the long-term need is.
How do you screen technical candidates?
Every candidate passes five checks before you see them: a live technical screen run by a practitioner in the same stack, verified employment history, reference calls with a direct manager, a written-communication assessment, and availability confirmed in writing. We also send written screening notes with every profile, so your interviews start from evidence instead of a résumé.
What does IT staffing cost, and how is it priced?
Contract roles are priced as an hourly bill rate covering the candidate's pay, employment costs, and our margin — you see the full rate before anyone starts. Direct placement is a one-time fee calculated as a percentage of first-year salary, invoiced only when the hire starts. Scoping a role and getting market numbers costs nothing; there is no retainer.
What happens if a placement doesn't work out?
Contract placements can be ended with short notice, and we begin a replacement search immediately at no additional fee. Direct placements carry a replacement guarantee: if the hire leaves or is let go inside the guarantee window, we refill the role for free. The exact window is set in your agreement before we start, not negotiated after something goes wrong.
Can you support remote, hybrid, and onsite roles?
Yes — remote roles draw from our full network, while hybrid and onsite searches are scoped to a commutable radius, and we confirm each candidate's real location and working-model preference in writing before you meet them. Mismatched remote expectations are one of the most common reasons placements fail, so we surface that conversation at the screen, not at the offer.
Do you staff outside of technology?
Our staffing practice is deliberately technology-only: engineering, cloud, data, security, QA, enterprise systems, and IT operations. That focus is what keeps our screens credible — practitioners evaluate practitioners. For marketing and digital roles, Spire Visibility's core agency services team can often help; ask on the scoping call and we'll route you to the right people.
Submit a role.
One business day to an initial market read. No retainer, no commitment.
Tell us the role. We’ll tell you the market.
No retainer to get a scope. If the numbers don’t work for you, you’ve still got the numbers.
